Gloom was a spy and thief employed by Archmaester Arvyn in Oldtown, his predominant role being information collection.

He was a member of the Cabal of Light and Dark before his death in a tavern brawl in 380AC.

Death

Following his monthly payment, Gloom visited The Rusty Blade, a tavern in Oldtown. After three flagons of strong black ale, he found himself quite tipsy and shortly after up-heaved the contents of his stomach upon another patron, much to his annoyance and Gloom's chagrin.

After a heated argument, knives were drawn, promptly followed by the spilling of blood and Gloom's untimely demise.

Gloom's body was taken to the Citadel for use in furthering medical knowledge.
