The Black Dread was is an infamous flagship, originally the personal ship of the former admiral master of Dragonstone. With sails as dark as a moonless night, and a hull painted to match, this legendary ship of Westeros and the Free Cities was every inch a regal vessel. Built for action, this ship could outsail any other sailing vessels.
Once Naerys Targaryen came into her abilities as a sailor and commander, she was given the Black Dread by the former admiral. Naerys has taken the ship from Dragonstone, around Westeros, and through the Free Cities more than once.
